Fitzroy Presbyterian incorporates five different preaching places:

  • John Knox and St Stephens: situated either side of the Fitzroy river in the historic City of Rockhampton;
  • St Enochs: in the historic gold mining town of Mt Morgan, on the range;
  • Alexandra Gardens: the regions PresCare facility; and
  • Morinish: the picturesque rural area northwest of Rockhampton.

 

We are part of a national Presbyterian Church founded upon the Scriptures.

We hold strongly to the Bible as our rule of faith and life and are firmly committed to the Reformed faith as the most consistent presentation of Biblical Christianity.


We believe that the Bible is God's word. It has been fully inspired by God the Holy Spirit.
We are committed to proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ both here in Australia and elsewhere.
Key elements of Biblical Christianity are:
  • the sovereignty of God in creation,
  • providence and redemption;
  • the centrality of the life, death and resurrection of the God-Man Jesus Christ;
  • the necessity of the Holy Spirit in the application of all aspects of salvation;
  • and the need to acknowledge the Lordship of Christ in every area of life.
